OLD school pictures of Maura Higgins taken ten years before finding fame on Love Island have emerged – and she looks totally unrecognisable.

The 28-year-old Irish beauty has transformed her looks since then amid claims she's gone under the knife.

In resurfaced snaps from her teenage years, Maura's youthful looks show her with a thick fringe and large pink earrings to match her loud top.

In another photograph, Maura is seen smiling in her school uniform wearing large gold hoop earrings.

Despite looking world's apart from how she looks and dresses in Love Island now, fans spotted Maura's cheeky grin.

One said: "Guess who this is (spoiler alert: it's Maura). I guess there's hope for us all."

Another added: "#Maura Higgins looks totally different in pre #LoveIsland swimwear shoot. It’s crazy. Lip filler and she looks like a different person."

The Sun Online revealed Maura's dramatic transformation before signing up to find love on the ITV2 show.

In early modelling shots – taken when she was 21 – reveal her thinner lips, smaller boobs and flatter bum.

She claimed to have lost weight in a gruelling six-week transformation, but fans questioned whether she may have had some extra help with bum implants given her quick turnaround.

But her mum sternly denied her daughter's had plastic surgery, insisting she's only gone as far as lip fillers.

She said: "She's 28 now. She has matured. She never got plastic surgery ever.

"The only thing she ever got done – and she never hid it, she had it up on her own Instagram – was she got some lip filler. Because she had quite thin lips."

Maura has stirred up trouble in the villa since her arrival last week after setting sights on boxer Tommy Fury – despite his love interest with Molly-Mae Hague.

She sparked an Ofcom probe after forcing herself on him during the fight for his affection.

A staggering 486 viewers objected to her "predatory" behaviour after she straddled and tried to kiss the 20-year-old against his wishes.

After Tommy chose Molly-Mae in the recoupling, Maura switched and set her sights on hunky new boy Tom Walker.

But just one day later, Maura has changed her mind again and is now grafting Danny – despite him being coupled up with Yewande.

Last night, she urged Danny to dump Yewande as he's "miserable" with her.

Speaking to him on the chair swing Maura says frankly: "Why don't you just nip it in the f***ing bud."

To which Danny replies: "But I don't want to throw something away that might have potential."

But Maura is having none of it and retorts: "But does it? Wake up!"
