The newlyweds first fell for each other while filming Love Island back in 2017.
Now, Jess and Dom are taking their relationship to the next level, as they get ready to welcome a baby to the family.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, the loved-up twosome opened up about their baby news, and reflected on their time in the infamous villa.
Host Carol Vorderman, who was replacing Lorraine Kelly as host for the day, asked about the pregnancy.
Cradling her blossoming baby bump, Jessica Shears, 25, revealed that their little one would be due in September.
She admitted excitedly: “I’ll be six months in a couple weeks!”
Though they can’t wait to be parents, the couple confessed there was one subject that they didn’t see eye-to-eye on.
While Dom Lever wants to wait to find out the gender of their baby, Jess is happy to get the big reveal over with.
Dom, 28, admitted: “I don’t want to find out the sex – it will be like a Christmas day surprise.”
Things heated up when Carol showed them a few clips from their time in the Love Island villa.
In one scene, they could be seen pulling the covers over them as they smooched in bed.
After watching the saucy footage, Jess said: “No child needs to see their parent like that!”
The couple wished the new contestants the best of luck in advance of Season Five of the hit dating series.
Mum-to-be Jess advised the newbies: “Just go with your gut.”
Before adding: “Trust the producers, that they’ve done a bit of research.”
Hopefully, the happy couple will find the time between baby-prep to watch the newest series themselves.
Lorraine airs on weekdays on ITV at 8.30am.
