Curtis Pritchard is left trying to win back Amy Hart’s affection on Friday night’s instalment of Love Island.

The usually loved-up couple hit the rocks in the latest episode of the hit ITV2 show when ballroom dancer Curtis angers his “half girlfriend” in a kissing challenge.

Villa residents are blindfolded and told to pucker up as they rate each other’s smooching skills.

However, things don’t go as planned for air hostess Amy when Curtis rates her a seven, while giving new girl Arabella Chi a perfect score of 10.

Hoping to get things back on track between the pair, producers send Curtis a text, instructing him and Amy to leave the villa and head put on a date.

He announces to his fellow islanders: “Amy and Curtis. You are going on a date. Please get ready to leave the villa. #turnthatsevenintoaten.”

Approaching the touchy subject, Curtis says: “I want to talk about today. I made a mistake. I feel like I did mess up. How are you feeling?”

Amy replies: “I’ve had time to cool down. I don’t like to be made to look stupid. My pride was hurt a bit.”

AJ Pritchard’s brother continues: “I don’t know how I didn’t know it was you. I felt really bad.”

“You are gorgeous. You are beautiful. You are a star.”

Curtis’ grafting seemingly works, with Amy telling him: “We get each other. I think that’s why we work so well together. You make me feel like a princess.

“I’m not an affectionate person but in the short time we’ve known each other I’ve become more like that. Nobody else is half boyfriend and girlfriend. That is unique to us.”

A relieved Curtis responds: “I’m happy. We’re going in the correct direction. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
