The Bafta-winning Scottish comedian Iain Stirling has been the narrator on Love Island since it relaunched in 2015 providing the odd savvy comment for us viewers to indulge in.

This year will be his seventh series, working alongside his wife Laura Whitmore, who hosts the show, a true Love Island couple.

Iain is also a stand-up comedian, writer and has been a television presenter for CBBC, A Night at the Theatre and has appeared on Taskmaster and Loose Women.

The success of Iain Sterling’s narrating on Love Island and previous accomplishments have set him with an estimated net worth of over £3 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Reports state the iconic comedian earned £540,245 in annual profit in 2019, doubling his business net worth from £426,824 in 2018 to £967,069 in 2019.

It was also reported, together with his wife Laura Whitmore, they made a staggering £1.9 million in company profits in 2019 alone.

With suggestions that Stirling is paid £100,000 for each series of the ITV dating show, his net worth is set to soar even higher after the 2021 series.

Speaking of his appearance on Love Island, he told The Sun: "I show up, watch the show, think of some funny things to say and then speak over people having sex with each other.

“I get to go to Majorca for six weeks and chill. I never thought my life would come to this but it has. It’s brilliant. I really enjoy it."

Meanwhile, his wife and now Love Island presenter Laura, is worth an estimated £10million.

The pair have been together since August 2017 and got married in 2020 in a secret ceremony in Dublin. The couple welcomed their daughter, Stevie Ré into the world earlier in the year in March.

The couple is going from strength to strength appearing alongside each other for another eight weeks in the seventh series of Love Island this summer.

In addition to Love Island, the comedian has also appeared on CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework, Scoop, 12 Again, All Over The Place and Drunk History.
