LOVE Island fans have spotted a tell-tale clue that Hugo Hammond secretly fancies Chloe Burrows as they enjoyed pillow talk before bed in tonight's episode.

The 22-year-old PE teacher caused shockwaves when he saved the blonde beauty in yesterday's re-coupling, and slammed her ex Toby in his speech.

Viewers are now convinced that he has a crush on the marketing exec, especially as he has remained single and pied three different girls during his time in the villa.

And his words of wisdom as they cuddled in bed struck a chord with those watching at home – who have claimed that it's proof he wants Chloe to be in a romantic relationship with him.

Chloe moaned to the hunk: "I just need to be a bit more careful with boys I think, and just stop being a f***ing idiot."

Hugo whispered in reply: "Why don't you just go for like… Like a nice person who will treat you well."

Hugo first got tongues wagging about how he felt towards Chloe when she came to him for comfort before officially calling things off with Toby.

Cuddling on the day bed, Hugo even rubbed his hands on Chloe's bum as they spoke.

Speaking about what they're going to do without love interests, Hugo said: "I'm going to have to stick it on you."

Chloe added: "Do you know what, I'll stick it right back."

"Yeah, let's do it," Hugo replied.

Chloe said: "Why not Hugo?"

Hugo replied: "Been there, done that, got the snog. Got the badge."

Chloe then added: "Might as well do it again."
