Love Island fans think they've worked out which couple will win the show, based on who goes on the most extravagant final dates.

The show's finale will take place next week, with host Maya Jama strutting into the gorgeous South African villa for the final time this year to crown the winners.

In a preview of Thursday night's episode, things are set to heat up as the couples get whisked away for their final dates.

"Islanders, the time has come for each of you to go on your final date! #ADateToRemember," a text reads, which prompts Shaq Muhammad to confess, "You just know the final dates are going to be amazing."

But in a Love Island twist, for the first time ever, the couples will have to vote for their least compatible couple while they're on the dates, putting the couple with the most votes at risk of being dumped from the Island.

Ron Hall and his girlfriend Lana Jenkins are the first couple to go on their date and are treated to a floating breakfast and a performance from a South African choir.

Later, Samie Elishi and Tom Clare arrive at their date in a Ferrari and are treated to a private mountainside restaurant located in the middle of a lake and decorated with rose petals.

As it heads to night time, Shaq and Tanya Manhenga are invited to date underneath the stars as they are greeted by a string quartet within a candle lit location.

On Friday night, we'll see the final set of dates for Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, as well as Jessie Wynter and Will Young.

However, Love Island fans think they've already clocked onto who might be the winner next Monday after one of the dates looked exceptionally more fancy than the others.

Many noted that Samie and Tom's date looked incredible compared to the others, with one person saying: "You lot aren't slick, we know you're setting up Samie and Tom for the win."

Another echoed it saying: "Not the producers giving Lana and Ron a date at Shrek's swamp and then giving Samie and Tom a whole castle."

"I'm sorry why do Tom and Samie get the best date?" a third commented, while another added: "The difference in dates… they want Samie and Tom to win so damn bad omfg."
