NADIA Sawalha has blasted the parents of a seven-year-old British girl who has become a viral sensation for her Taylor Swift performance on a talent show.

Xia Vigor donned one of the singer’s stage outfits and performed an amazing version of the popstar’s hit You Belong With Me on Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids which aired in the Far East.

The little girl – from Exeter, Devon – wore a white marching band uniform, a full face of make up and even managed a costume change half way through her performance into a sequin mini dress.

The clip has now been viewed more than one million times on YouTube but discussing the routine on Tuesday's Loose Women, Nadia couldn't hide her disapproval.

She said: "I have a real, visceral response to it, I’m repulsed by it.

"Obviously she doesn't know, she's completely innocent, but for me those are sexualised moves she’s been taught, she’d have had hours and hours of rehearsals with someone going 'no not like that, more like this' and I just think why? why so young?"

Fellow panellist Jane Moore added: "I wouldn't let me seven-year-old do that. I know she's a bit of a celebrity in the Philippines – she has a British father – but she's a bit of a national celebrity in the Philippines,  she's done some Mini Me shows before.

"And obviously she's very, very confident but for me I just think those moves have probably been coached and I wouldn't want to do that with my seven-year-old.

"I think it's too much, too soon, but then maybe I'm being old fashioned."

However Stacey Solomon had a slightly different opinion, saying: "I agree I wouldn't want my seven-year-old to dress like that and do those actions, but I actually look at it and think it's what we are teaching our children to do all of the time.

"Our magazines, our music videos, that is what our kids are watching.  People like Taylor Swift are aimed at seven-year-old children, correct me if I'm wrong, all of her music is designed for that age group, for them to imitate and sing along to."

However Nadia pointed out there was a difference between a child doing it in their bedroom and on national television.

But Stacey replied: "I don't know this child I've never met them, but looking at it, I assume… she looks like she really wants to be there,  you couldn't get my son up on stage for love nor money, he hates it."

Xia has already won a competition for impersonating Selena Gomez when she wore a brunette wig and sang Love You Like A Love Song.

The video has been viewed more than 300 million times.

Budding star Xia already boasts thousands of followers on Instagram and is a TV host in the Philippines.
