KIM Kardashian is “convinced” filing for divorce from her husband Kanye West was the best decision, despite recently crying over him on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The 40-year-old reality star filed the paperwork in February, after four kids and almost seven years of marriage.

Kim and Kanye had been struggling with their relationship, with their issues getting worse during the pandemic.

The rapper angered his wife as he went on Twitter rants and opened up about personal family situations during his presidential campaign.

Having had enough, the SKIMS founder filed for divorce earlier this year, and a source revealed to People that “she was really struggling” at that time.

Despite being “very upset about and really [not wanting[ to file,” she’s now “doing great.”

The insider added: “She has come a long way since she filed for divorce, though. She's very happy and convinced that she made the right decision.”

Though the couple has had a nasty split, sources told TMZ things have been as “amicable as a divorce can be.”

They want joint legal and physical custody of the couple's four kids – daughters North, seven, and Chicago, three, and sons Saint, five, and Psalm, two – and are committing to co-parenting together.

Kim and the kids still live in the Los Angeles mansion they shared with Kanye, and while he no longer stays there, the artists sees his kids "often."

The source added that all of the children "are doing well" amid the changes stemming from the divorce.

Coming to terms with the end of the marriage is a big change for Kim, who broke down in tears over Kanye in the latest KUWTK episode.

A clip is played of Kim sobbing on the bed next to sister Kylie Jenner, as she said: “I can’t do this anymore. I can’t. How am I still in this place where I’m stuck for years?

The mother of four continued: "He moves to a different state every year… And I have to be in a place where I’m together for the kids.

"I think he deserves someone that can support his every move and go to Wyoming to be with him and follow him everywhere.

"He deserves a wife who travels with him and is there for everything. I feel like a f**king failure."
