Season 18, Episode 3 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired on April 9, 2020. The episode titled, Date My Daughter, had everyone from Khloé Kardashian to Mason receiving dating advice. However, not all fans were too keen on the idea of Kourtney Kardashian‘s 10-year-old so receiving dating advice from the family.
While Kris and MJ meddled to find Khloe a new love interest, Mason had some meddling family members of his own to deal with. Find out who handed out dating advice to young Mason, and why fans were so displeased with the message.

Who is Mason Disick?
Born December 14, 2009, Mason Dash Disick is the son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. Mason is the oldest grandchild of the Kardashian clan and has been featured on KUWTK since birth.
Mason has been coming into his own on more recent seasons of KUWTK. Like most 10-year-olds, Mason is obsessed with TikTok and has gained quite a large following of his own.
Then again, like most kids his age, Mason isn’t the most responsible with his social media presence. While Mason is still allowed on TikTok, his parents decided to delete his Instagram account after he decided to spill some family tea on Instagram Live.
Kourtney explained why she deleted the account during an interview. She stated, “I did delete it because Scott and I just felt like he isn’t [old enough].” Kardashian went on to say, “He’s 10. I think there’s an age limit with Instagram, I think it’s 13.”
As would be expected, Mason was more than a little disappointed with the decision that his parents made. He was really hoping for some Instagram fame. Lucky for Mason, Instagram fame will still be waiting for him when his parents finally decide he can handle an Instagram account responsibly.

What does dating advice for a 10-year-old look like?
While Mason’s Instagram dreams have been crushed, for the time being, he still has KUWTK to hold onto. Mason made a brief appearance on one of the latest episode of KUWTK. He can be seen chatting with a couple of girls at his dad’s open house event.
Mason’s aunt, Kylie Jenner, was at the event as was his dad’s girlfriend, Sofia Richie. Kylie, Sofia, and Scott all watch Mason’s encounter with the girls. Kylie makes the comment, “He’s a bachelor out here.”
When Mason comes over to talk to his dad and Sofia, Scott asks him, “Did you get their number?” Mason’s quick response is, “I don’t have a phone.” Sofia lets Scott know that she gave out her number to help Mason find some friends. However, Sofia is sure to tell Mason that he doesn’t have to date anyone and that they can all just be friends.

While there is nothing really scandalous about the dating advice Scott and Sofia gave Mason, some KUWTK fans took to Reddit to share their displeasure with giving a 10-year-old dating advice.
One fan wrote, “Not a huge fan of pushing a 10-year-old to want to start dating.” Another fan chimed in, “I think it’s really creepy when parents start sexualizing/romanticizing any boy/girl friendship at a young age.” Another fan simply wrote, “I thought it was weird Sophia was giving Mason dating advice, seemed weird.”
While 10 years of age may or may not be the best time to receive dating advice, Mason better get used to listening to unsolicited advice. If we have learned anything about the Kardashians over the last seventeen seasons, it’s that they love to meddle in each other’s relationships and dish out ample supplies of unsolicited advice to one another.
With the Kardashian family involved, Scott and Sofia certainly won’t be the last in the family to meddle in Mason’s love life.
