KANYE West has threatened to leave America after being left "humiliated" in the 2020 US election.

Sources close to the rapper – who attempted to launch a presidential bid in early summer but was too late to get on the ballot in many states – have now alleged that he "doesn’t understand what went wrong and he wants out because we don’t deserve him."

"Kanye isn’t a rational person, the insider said.

"He honestly thought he had a chance of getting millions of votes. The end result was humiliating."

The rapper, 43, received 60,000 votes across 12 states.

Kanye was also mentored by President Donald Trump, who lost to Joe Biden, and the source told OK! magazine that Kanye was "expecting a position in the cabinet" before launching another bid in 2024.

Yet despite his claims to be ready to leave the country, the insider added that his wife Kim Kardashian is "ignoring" them and that "there is no way Kim and the kids are moving to a new country, because her husband’s feeling were hurt."

The family lives in Los Angeles and and also has a home in Wyoming.

To rub salt in the wound, Kim has also thrown her support behind Joe Biden's election win.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared a photograph of Biden and vice-president Kamala Harris stood in front of a US flag on Instagram and Twitter.

The 40-year-old completed the post with a trio of blue hearts, seemingly representing the Democratic party win.

Kim, who regularly encouraged her fans to vote throughout the election process, was joined by her famous sisters in the celebrations.

Taking to Twitter, Khloe Kardashian penned: "OMG I want to cry tears of joy!!!! Bravo!!!"

While younger sister Kendall Jenner said she was "emotional, relieved, and filled with joy" following the outcome

President-elect Biden, 77, has promised to unify and "restore the soul of America" as he delivered a stirring victory speech at a rally in his home town in Delaware.

However Donald Trump has "no plans" to concede the 2020 election, and is alleging massive voter fraud, of which there has been no evidence.
