Tony Bellew has seemed to confirm to fans of I'm A Celebrity that campmates were provided with information from the outside world.

Sunday night (December 10) saw Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson emerge as the new King of the Jungle, after a tightly fought public vote. Professional boxer Bellew lost out, finishing in second place whilst controversial politician and broadcaster Nigel Farage finished third.

During the course of this year's show, viewers had seen multiple times when contestants became emotional due to a lack of contact with their family and friends. But it now seems that news from the outside world was able to make it into the jungle on the ITV show.

Boxer Tony, 41, had become a fan favourite amongst viewers as he showed his love for his beloved football club – Everton. His jungle bestie Sam also had spoken of his own preference for his local team of Chelsea.

As Ant and Dec whittled the contestants to just two, the hosting duo interviewed both Sam and Tony at the same time. After speaking to the finalists, Ant and Dec wrapped up the interview, much to huge cheers from fellow campmates who had returned to the jungle to see who came out on top.

But ahead of the reveal of who had won the show, the Geordie twosome had indulged the pair in where their favourite teams were up to in football. Both Everton and Chelsea had played each other in a recent match, which saw the Toffees beat Chelsea 3-0.

Upon hearing the news, Tony screamed in pride as he rose from his seat. Screaming in joy, he exclaimed: "Yes! Get in there! Get in there! Off the Toffies! That's what it's about!"

Bellew's microphone was brought down by producers, but he could be heard quietly muttering to his campmate: "That's three wins in a row!" As he took in the news, Ant and Dec brought the show to a break.

But as the interview wrapped up, some eagle-eyed viewers were confused as to how Tony would be able to get this information, as he had been in the camp for two weeks. One person took to social media to ask the question: "How does Tony know Everton has won three games in a row? They must feed them so much of outside world now."

A second viewer was similarly perplexed at how the boxer new the information, writing: "Now how did Tony Bellew know Everton have won three games in a row? Before quickly cutting to a break… is there something you're not telling us?"

Whilst a third fan agreed, penning: "And another thing, how did Tony know that his football team won three games in a row? Something seems fishy."

Whilst Tony celebrated the news, his campmate was left devastated. The camera quickly cut to Sam, who was audibly distraught at the information, putting his head in his hands.

But things eventually worked out well for the Channel 4 star, as he would go on to win the reality show and become the next King of the Jungle. Upon hearing the news, Sam was left stunned, but as he sat on his throne, he broke down and gave his thanks to everyone who voted for him to win.
