I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! lost Olivia Attwood just 24 hours after the launch due to medical reasons.

While ITV reportedly declared that nobody would replace the beauty, Love Island star Joe Garratt has left fans convinced that he is taking part in the 2022 series.

The reality star recently uploaded pictures from his visit to Australia, where I’m A Celeb is set as he posed in a grey t-shirt and a green bucket hat with the Australia Zoo logo on as he cuddled a large grey koala.

The sweet creature grabbed his arm as he beamed for the camera and fans flocked to the comments to speculate whether he was going to enter the jungle.

Fellow Love Islander Belle Hassan commented: “Why did I think this was a promo pic for you entering I’m A Celeb,” with laughing emojis.

Another asked whether “Joe is in the jungle” and the former reality star teased: “Send me in there!”

One keen follower said that they would “love” to see the 25-year-old in the camp and Joe replied with a shrugging emoji and admitted he would be up to the challenge.

He further fuelled the rumours in the caption where he joked that his “Australian citizenship” is “pending,” which convinced fans that he is set to take part in the ITV show.

Viewers think that he was flown Down Under to replace former contestant and fellow Love Island star Olivia Attwood after she was forced to quit the show.

After just 24 hours in, Attwood’s time was cut short and she was made to leave prematurely on medical grounds.

Crew deemed it “unsafe” for Olivia to remain in the camp and a message was promptly broadcast to her followers via Instagram.

“Team Liv” said that she is “heartbroken” and that she has “dreamed of doing I’m A Celebrity for years”.

The post continued: “However, for reasons beyond her control, her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.”

They ended with a cryptic message that promised her fans they “will hear the truth in due course” and confirmed that she “will be back on screens in the New Year”.
