Good Girls season three is on Netflix and the comedy drama series follows a group of mothers in the money laundering business. They have had numerous run-ins with the top criminal Rio (played by Manny Montana) and Beth Boland (Christina Hendricks) has made a number attempts to kill him. Fans are keen to know if Rio actually died in Good Girls and Express.co.uk has the answer.
Did Rio die in Good Girls?
Fans were shocked to see Rio was still alive in season three, after he was double-crossed and shot by Beth at the end of season two.
Rio then made it his mission to infiltrate Beth’s money-laundering business, and he made her pay for what she did.
Beth, Ruby Hill (Retta) and Annie Marks (Mae Whitman) decided they had been through too much with Rio.
They made enough money to pay a hitman to kill him, and they were seen sitting on a park bench waiting for the kill to be confirmed.
Beth then bought a hot tub business so they could launder their fake money, but Rio emerged and demanded he wanted in on the business.
So fans of Rio will be pleased to hear he is not dead yet, but he could see his demise in season four.
Beth was even more frustrated when she found out the hitman did not do his job, so she will not be pleased now she has to work with Rio.
The creators of the series have already teased Rio and Beth will be forced to work closely together in season four.
There has been growing tension between the characters and fans are hoping for a romance between them.
However actor Montana has said he does not want to see any physical contact between his character and Beth.
The ladies have already tried to kill Rio numerous times, so there is nothing to say they will not try again.
However if Beth starts to get close to Rio by working collaboratively with him, she may develop stronger feelings for him.
If she does not try to kill him again, there is always a chance an outsider, or the FBI, will get to him first.
Fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Rio’s character and his future.
One said: “Oh man…just seen the last episode for season three of Good Girls, and I’ve got to say. If my boy Rio dies, I’m done watching it.”

Another fan said: “I don’t know how I’m going to feel if Rio dies in Good Girls.”
Many other fans have threatened to boycott the series if Rio’s character is killed off in the next season.
But they will be pleased to hear he will feature in at least some episodes of season four, as he is still alive for now.
Fans have also taken to Reddit to share their thoughts on the season three finale.
One said: “When Rio leaves the hot tub place I’m sure you can hear the sound of a silencer go off? Similar to the paintball shot. Or was the hit called off?
“And I assume his death was what they were celebrating in the park?”
But another fan said Rio was not dead at the end of season three. They said: “The sound you heard was just the door closing behind him. They were celebrating because they bought the spa place, became ‘small business owners’ and had a place to wash the money.”
Fans are pleased to hear he is still alive as they are keen to find out more about his history and how he became a criminal.
Another said on Reddit: “I want to see more of Rio, I want to know what makes him tick.
“I would like to know what is it exactly about Beth that he likes. I love the girls but Rio needs more screen time.”
