A brand new series of Gogglebox is kicking off on February 26 – so prepare to watch the nation’s favourite telly watchers sit down to tell you their thoughts.
Every week Brits can enjoy watching fan-favourites like Jenny and Lee and the Siddiqui family give their opinions on what’s on TV.
The families we see on Gogglebox are literally living the dream – they are getting paid to watch TV.
If you’re thinking “I could do that”, you may be wondering how you can get yourself on the show.
Or you might know someone who is perfect for the job. So can you apply to be on Gogglebox?
How to apply for Gogglebox
Unfortunately, there is no way you can apply to be on Gogglebox.
A Channel 4 spokesperson confirmed last year: "We are not currently casting, and there is no way to apply to be on Gogglebox."
But that doesn’t mean you can’t help your chances in being spotted for when they are casting for Gogglebox.
The way to get on Gogglebox is to be spotted by someone who works for the Channel 4 show.

Show creator Stephen Lambert said in 2015: "Everybody on Gogglebox has been found and persuaded to be on the show and I think that’s the key to why they are likeable and why the show works, because we get to know these people. We’ve never advertised for people on Gogglebox."
For example, the iconic Leon and June Bernicoff were spotted at a bridge club in Liverpool.
What they look for is people with “strong and entertaining” opinions about TV shows and films.

So the best way to get cast on the show is by being yourself, and hanging around public locations – when lockdown is over of course.
There tend to be a new cast members every series.
However, if you know someone who might be the right fit for Gogglesprogs, you can register interest on the Studio Lambert website.
Gogglesprogs is a Gogglebox spin-off, where children offer their unique observations.

Gogglebox cast members reportedly get paid £1,500 per month for being on the show.
The set fee is split between the family members as they wish, according to The Sun.
But that’s not all. The cast get also get given free takeaways for when they sit down in front of the TV.
If you do get lucky enough to be scouted, you’ll need to commit to 12 hours of filming a week, spread across two six hour shifts.
During this time they can’t just sit back and enjoy the TV show or movie, they have to share their opinions.
