Four in a Bed: Guests shocked after finding dead flies in room

On Thursday’s instalment of Four in a Bed, owner Pav and his friend Heena welcomed the other contestants to stay at Beldon House in Lincolnshire.

During the episode, the three duos were shown to their rooms, which at first glance, they were pleased with.

As the inspections began, all seemed to be going well as the guests commented on the quality of the bed linen and fresh plants.

However, the more they looked around their accommodation for the night, the more issues were found.

Opening the curtain to look at the windows, Rob and his wife Heloisa found dead bugs, spiders and dirt in the window frame.

Rob said: “That, I’m sorry, that is not acceptable.”

Heloisa added: “There’s a dead bug in there, look. I mean I would never leave something like that in our place.”

Although it wasn’t just Rob and Heloisa who had problems with the cleanliness of the place as Kelly and her mum Lorraine were gobsmacked over the marks found.

She commented: “There’s a full handprint on that wall there.”

“All of this is absolutely filthy, I shouldn’t really be able to draw a smiley face on the grease in the shower.”

Each of the duos was less than impressed at the quality of the room as they also spotted fluff in the extractor fans, tea stains on the wall and residue left on the tap in the bathroom.

In the episode, viewers saw Kelly and her mum so outraged with their room they had to call Pav and ask for it to be cleaned again.

Agreeing to have the room looked at again, the owner said to the camera: “With the age of this building, it’s not a surprise, I’ll find out what the issue was and address it with the staff.”

However, when it came to marking Pav and Heena out of 10 for cleanliness, the guests didn’t hold back as they received a mark of two by more than one duo.

Reading the feedback, Heena said: “We checked, but you know maybe the check wasn’t thorough enough?”

Looking at a different review that also marked them a two, Rav said: “As we’re new to this, we’re still finding our feet.”

Sadly, none of the guests said they’d come back again, leaving Pav and Heena disappointed with their answers.

Four in a Bed continues weekdays on Channel 4 from 5PM.
