Fate: The Winx Saga season two is on Netflix and a new school year means new fairies at Alfea. Terra (played by Eliot Salt) was thrilled to see her cousin Flora join just in time to help save the school. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about who plays Flora, and who else has joined the cast.
Who is in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2?
Flora – Paulina Chávez
Mexican-American actress and musician Paulina Chávez plays the new fairy of season two.
The 20-year-old star is also known for starring as the title character in Netflix’s The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia.
Born in El Paso, at the age of six Paulina and her family moved to San Antonio, where she discovered her love of acting.
She starred in a number of theatre roles before booking roles for short films.
Away from acting, her other passion is music and she plays the violin in a San Antonio-based mariachi group.
She is also an advocate for the Latinx community.
Sebastian – Éanna Hardwicke
Sebastian is an old acquaintance of Alfea and he has a history with Rosalind (Miranda Richardson) and Farah Dowling (Eve Best).
He is played by Éanna Hardwicke, an Irish actor from Glanmire, Co Cork.
The star played Rob in Normal People, and he may also be recognised for his role in Smother.
He spoke to the Irish Independent about how he feels about landing new projects.
“I still sort of get that excited when finding out I’ve gotten a role,” he said.
“I still feel very much like a rookie in a lot of respects and I genuinely consider most of my previous roles as flukes but, in a way, I hope I never lose that feeling. It’s what keeps me going.”
Grey – Brandon Grace
Grey is one of the new Specialists at Alfea and he shares Aisha’s (Precious Mustapha) passion for swimming.
However, there is certainly more to the athlete than meets the eye.
Grey is played by Brandon Grace, who graduated from the Guildhall School of acting.
His first TV credit is in Fate: The Winx Saga, so viewers will be excited to see where he goes next.
As he plays a major role in the series, plenty of opportunities are likely to open up to him.
