Following reports that Sharon (played by Letitia Dean) would find herself pregnant, the storyline has now been confirmed by EastEnders spoilers.
Sharon will make the discovery next week on the BBC soap, however, it remains to be seen who the father is.
Her stepdaughter Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) is already expecting with Keanu (Danny Walters), who Sharon has had an torrid affair with.
It could be that Keanu becomes a dad twice over in several months’ time.
Although there is the possibility that Phil is the father of Sharon’s baby, but only time will tell.
The plot could risk Sharon and Keanu’s affair secret coming out and Phil’s reaction is bound to be explosive.
Meanwhile, Louise is likely to be devastated as she had genuine feelings for Keanu.
Although Louise ended things with Keanu when she found out Phil had paid him to protect her, the pair will soon rekindle their romance.
It all unfolds next week when Louise hears that Keanu is set to leave Walford to make a new life for himself elsewhere.
She comes to her senses and realises she can’t deny her feelings so rushes off to the tube station to talk to Keanu.
The teen lovebirds share an emotional chat and go to share a kiss before deciding to have another crack at their relationship.
Keanu will no doubt be delighted by the news Louise delivers as she tells him she never aborted their baby.
Louise told Keanu she went through with it, but when it came down to it Louise just couldn’t terminate the pregnancy.
But how long will it be before Sharon’s baby bombshell rocks the couple?
The Mitchells go to family therapy following on from Dennis’ (Bleu Landau) violent behaviour.
However, Sharon struggles to hold it together because of her shock pregnancy news and later breaks down after the session.
Panicking about her own pregnancy, Sharon begins to research abortion clinics later on next week.
However, Phil catches her in the act and thinks it means Louise has changed her mind about her pregnancy.
Phil wants to know what’s going on but it remains to be seen if Sharon will tell him the truth.
EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
