Tom, 40, and Meaghan, 33, passionately kissed one another while surrounded by a small number of friends and family before tucking into cocktails and canapés in their al fresco setting.

The couple have been together since 2015, announcing their engagement earlier this year – Tom was previously married to actress Tamzin Outhwaite, 48, from 2006 to 2014.

Hitched! Lucifer star Tom Ellis married screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer in a beautiful rustic ceremony in Santa Ynes, California, on Sunday… five years after his divorce from Tamzin Outhwaite

The happy couple: They were joined by family and friends in their wedding which was held in the great outdoors

Guests were shuttled in from Solvang, a nearby replica Danish town,  at around 4:30 pm and ushered to the ceremony set outside and under oak trees.

Although there had been rain throughout the day, it cleared for the duration of the ceremony and guests, including Tom’s children, cheered as the couple exchanged their vows.

As they filtered out from under the trees, the couple selected the Carpenters song, Top Of The World, to be played.

Meaghan looked stunning in a full-length embroidered lace gown with a floral design. It had long, ruffled sleeves and a cinched-in waist accessorized with a three-quarter length veil and velvet Mary Jane heels.

You may kiss the bride: The couple engaged in passionate kisses in front of their guests

And the bride wore… Meaghan chose a stunning lace dress with sleeves and carried a white floral bouquet

Passion: Meaghan’s veil trailed in the wind with a dramatic flourish as Tom pulled her in for a dramatic kiss

Do you take thee? Meaghan and Tom threw their arms around one another before posing for more pictures post-ceremony with a cocktail in hand

The bride chose an orange-red manicure, a simple gold pendent and a bouquet of white flowers including roses. She was seen surrounded by nine bridesmaids, all of whom wore white outfits.

Tom wore a black tuxedo with a bow tie and a white pocket square. After photos, the husband and wife were able to have a drink, being delivered two cocktails that they happily sipped on while posing for pictures.

Looking totally loved-up they interlocked fingers and kissed for the camera posing in front of the vineyard. They were also spotted having pictures taken next to the lake, making use of the 100 plus acres of their location.

Tom, Meaghan and their wedding party made the most of their special occasion, going up from their home in Los Angeles days earlier to enjoy the local area.

Say cheese! The wedding was an intimate affair with guests of honour wearing monochrome ensembles

The couple were inundated with requests from fans to send gifts for their big day and opted to request charitable donations with Tom writing on social media: ‘Thank you to all the people that have been asking about wedding gifts or charitable donations for my upcoming nuptials with @MoppyOpps that is so kind.

‘If you would like to make a donation to @PPFA #plannedparenthood we would be very grateful.’

The couple later shared the first photos from the wedding on their respective Instagram pages.

Tom’s photo showed him looking dapper, standing on a dock next to a boat with his new bride in her gorgeous white wedding gown.

The actor has three daughters, Nora Ellis, from his relationship with Estelle Morgan, and Florence, 10, and Marnie, 6, from his marriage to Tamzin Outhwaite.

Ellis’ marriage to Outhwaite is said to have ended after the actor admitted to cheating on her with Lost actress Emilie de Ravin.

But Tamzin said in a 2015 interview with Essentials Magazine that there was more to the split than just an act of infidelity.
