EastEnders’ Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) left mum Linda (Kellie Bright) in shock as she revealed her plans to get sterilised.

The young woman’s behaviour as of late has left Linda with cause for concern, and – after finding CBD oil in her pocket – the matriarch worried that her daughter had become a drug dealer.

This – coupled with Nancy’s mystery trip to the hospital – sent the landlady’s mind into overdrive, and therefore she decided enough was enough, and confronted her in tonight’s edition of the BBC One soap.

Nancy was horrified that her mum had been snooping in her affairs, informing her that it’s all none of her business.

However, a word from dashing newcomer Zack Hudson (James Farrar) left the young woman feeling rather guilty about the way she’d spoken to her mum, and therefore she set off to make amends.

Linda had similarly been feeling guilty, and apologised for the way she’d been behaving – reiterating that she’s just worried.

Nancy then opened up, revealing that the CBD oil is to help with her seizures.

Linda, while still having doubts, was more interested in Nancy’s reasons for needing to go to the hospital – and soon she got the answers she was looking for.

Yes, desperate to put her mum’s mind at rest, Nancy revealed that she is going to be sterilised, as she doesn’t want kids.
