Lorraine, 44, posted for a photo with sister Donna, 40, as they threw up peace signs at home.
The actress looked worlds away from her mouthy and rough around the edges character on the Square with her hair in blonde curls.
She captioned the photo: "Skin and blister @dstanley80 ❤️❤️❤️@ love love love ✌?✌?✌?"
The term Skin and Blister is cockney rhyming slang for "sister".
But her followers were interested to know if they were more than sisters and actually twins after noticing how much they look alike.
They replied in their droves as one wrote: "Wow I thought there were 2 of you ❤️"
Another added: "Spitting image of each other ❤️", whole another joked: "Why does she look more like Karen Taylor than u do ?❤️❤️"
On Lorraine's Instagram story she posted another picture with her sibling.
It was accompanied with the hashtag #sisters and a love heart as the pair enjoyed some time together at the The George of Harpenden pub.
Karen is not the first character Lorraine has played in EastEnders, as she portrayed Big Mo in a vintage flashback episode.
The TV star appeared in a special episode looking back on the history of Mo's feud with Pat Butcher.
In 2004, Lorraine took part in a special EastEnders episode dedicated to Mo Harris – aka Big Mo – played by Laila Morse.
The spin-off show explored the iconic character's friendship with Pat Butcher, played by Pam St Clement, and their long-lasting feud.
