Emotions are running high in the land of soap, as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) reveals that she no longer wants to sell The Queen Vic to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) in EastEnders, while Carla Connor’s (Alison King) past comes back to haunt her in Coronation Street.

Meanwhile, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) both make shock revelations in Emmerdale’s next batch of lockdown episodes, while the community struggle to come to terms with Kyle Kelly’s (Adam Rickitt) suicide in Hollyoaks.

EastEnders

Linda gets wind of the way Phil has been treating Sharon, and thus reveals to Mick that she no longer wants to sell him the pub. However, Mick is reluctant to pull out of the sale, given that he and Linda have put a deposit down on a flat.

Later, Phil wants Mick to sign the papers and finalise the contracts, but Linda unleashes her fury on the hard-man — revealing that she’s changed her mind about the sale.

Chantelle reveals to Gray that she was at the dentist at the time of the Stratford trip, but he doesn’t believe her and is convinced she’s lying.

Coronation Street

Chelsey reminds Carla her that she stayed in her squat when she was sleeping rough last year. She tells Carla she wants a grand off her or she will tell Peter what she got up to, and — later — she returns with a lad named Jordan, who reminds Carls that he ran the squat and she’ d better pay up for the drugs she destroyed.

Sally refuses to sit with Tim and Geoff in the pub, and when Faye discovers that Sally kicked Geoff out, she decides to move in with her grandad — leaving Tim fuming.

Adam decides it is time for Daniel move on, and therefore insists he attends a swanky lawyers’ drinks reception in town. Daniel does so and feels out of his depth but is intrigued by Nicky — who does her best to put him at ease.

Emmerdale

Mandy spends lockdown in somewhat of an unconventional fashion, as she and Vinny self-isolate in the salon. However, it’s not actually Mandy’s fault, as Sam kicks she and Vinny out.

Nicola and Jimmy get on one another’s nerves during lockdown. Nicola spends her time focusing on her local council business, but it soon becomes apparent that something is bothering her. She’s evidently upset, and Jimmy soon becomes aware of this, but he’s at a loss over what to do.

While trapped in the salon with his mum, Vinny seemingly begins to show an interest in Liv — something that Mandy’s not too keen on.

Hollyoaks

Darren relays word of Kyle’s suicide to Nancy, and it’s safe to assume that she’s left devastated as a result. The tragedy affects many people in the village, and the blame is shifted from one person to the next.

Meanwhile, Luke makes up with Darren, promising to not only be a better friend, but to try and undertstand more in the future.

However, after Darren makes a shock admission, Luke drags him to see the GP immediately, and informs Mandy to meet them there.
