FORMER Coronation Street star Kym Marsh got a lump on her armpit checked out after fans shared their concerns over an Instagram selfie.

The Michelle Connor actress shared a workout photo earlier this week wearing a neon crop top and red shorts, while lifting a kettlebell over her head.

But fans expressed their concerns over a lump they spotted in her armpit and urged her to check it with a doctor in the comments.

The 44-year-old told fans she went to the doctors to get it checked out, but luckily it was only inflammation.

Kym wrote: "5k run in the park followed by a cheeky kettle bell session! Bring on summer fitness!!! #fitoverforty ????.

"Just so you guys know….after the recent photo and people’s concerns over the ‘lump’ in my armpit, I went and had it checked anyway. It’s all good guys and is just a bit of inflammation to a muscle. Thank you all for your concern xxx"

When she's not working out, Kym is busy with pursuing her business ventures.

The former Rovers Return landlady is swapping the Cobbles for bricks and mortar as she set up her own property company, Marcun Properties Ltd, in Manchester.

Insiders told The Sun Online that the 44-year-old has enlisted the help of her tiler son David Cunliffe, 25, to help renovate homes which they plan to rent out.

A source told The Sun Online: "Kym’s always been very good with money and never blown her cash.

"David is the ideal partner because he can identify bargains and he has the skills to renovate places to either rent out or sell on at a profit depending on what they decide."
