BTS are continuing their American tour and are set to tick off another bucket list item as they will be performing on the finale The Voice US later tonight.
Last week Metro.co.uk reported that the song competition had released a teasing trailer that suggested BTS and the Jonas Brothers will be collaborating on The Voice.
Though we’re still not 100 per cent on the collaboration, the K-pop superstars have finally confirmed their appearance on the show.
In a video addressed to ARMY and Voice viewers alike, charismatic leader RM revealed the happy news: ‘Hello Voice fans, we are BTS. Are you ready for the big announcement? We’re performing our single, Boy With Luv, a live Voice finale. May 21st. NBC. We’re so excited!’
The boys won’t be on their own. RM, Jimin, Jin, Suga, JungKook, J-Hope and V will be sharing the stage with the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift and Panic! At the Disco’s Brendon Urie, all of whom will also be performing during the finale.
In a separate tweet, The Voice revealed that Khalid and One Republic will also be there, as well as Halsey. Will she be performing her new song Nightmare, or will the singer join the boys on stage to sing Boys With Luv?
The ARMY always cheerlead for the boys as they travel and perform abroad and this time was no different; they are ecstatic, though they pretty much guessed what the surprise had been straight away.
BTS’ appearance on the show will mark one of the final shows of their American Speak Yourself: Love Yourself stadium concert days, which will conclude with performances in Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday 18 May, and Sunday.
In The Voice finale, Maelyn Jarmon, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts, and Andrew Sevener will compete for the crown.
The Voice finale airs on NBC at 8pm ET in the US.
