BIG Brother star Grace Adams-Short was left "cringing" this week after watching herself and now-husband Mikey Dalton fall for each other on Big Brother: Best Shows Ever.

Grace, 34, found love with Mikey, 37, after they both entered the famous camera-filled house for the 2006 series of Big Brother.

But despite the happy memories, Grace has admitted watching themselves back on Tuesday night has left her feeling a little red-faced.

The full time mum also joked that she needed "an eyebrow tint" when she was just 20 years old.

Taking to Instagram, during the first week of the Big Brother highlight shows to mark its 20th anniversary, Grace thanked fans for their kind messages.

She said: "I just want to say a huge thank you for all the lovely messages I’ve had about Mikey and I and our family ?.

"14 years ago at 20 years old I decided to go on Big Brother for a bit of fun for the summer I never thought i would of found my future husband!!

"Yes I was opinionated and had far too much to say ? (I don’t think this has really changed if you ask Mikey ?) 3 kids later we are so close and happy and truly grateful for what we have.

Grace added: "I hope the re runs of the show has given everyone some light relief and good old fashioned reality tv during lockdown? although I fully cringed last night watching the show and wish someone had introduced me to eyebrow tint and hair dye back then – something I’m well accustomed to now living In Liverpool ??.

"Just wanted to say thanks again xx @bbuk @mikeydaltonuk @e4grams #marriedlife #mumto3 #londongirlinliverpool."

Big Brother fans were reminded of Grace and Mikey's blossoming romance during Tuesday's Big Brother: Best Shows Ever.

Davina McCall and Rylan Clark-Neal host the E4 programme, which features a carefully selected nostalgic episode of the reality show.

Episodes have been chosen from both celebrity and 'normal' series' from 2000 to 2010.

Mikey and Grace both appeared as Davina and Rylan revisited Nikki Grahame's iconic 'Who is she?!' outburst in Big Brother 7.

Back then, London-born Grace was a performing arts student. Liverpudlian Mikey worked as a software developer and model.

But although romance grew between them, public opinion of Grace dropped of a cliff when she threw a glass of water over newbie Susie Verrico.

Now married to Mikey, and three children between them, Grace however looks back on Big Brother with warmth.

This week, she exclusively told The Sun Online: "I absolutely loved every second of it from the audition rounds to all the amazing opportunities that came after the show.

"The highlight really was meeting my husband, the daddy of our three munchkins.

"Mikey has said that there was an immediate attraction and I thought, 'Wow this will be a fantastic summer'.

"It was kind of like a holiday romance. We just enjoyed it really and everything we did since then has felt right for us.”

Grace invested the money she earned as a result of appearing in Big Brother in property.

She also set up a nationwide performing arts school, which she has since sold for millions.

The couple now live together with their kids in Mikey's home city of Liverpool.
