There are many rules when it comes to Big Brother. One of them is about houseguests trying to get evicted. There is one houseguests of Big Brother 22 who talked about the rule on the live feeds and a plan that might have been created to get around it. [SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead for Big Brother 22.]
Christmas Abbott is the new Head of Household
Christmas Abbott became the new Head of Household (HOH) in episode 14. The episode ended with her putting Bayleigh Dayton and Da’Vonne Rogers on the block.
This probably isn’t surprising given Abbott is in The Committee alliance with Cody Calafiore, Daniele Donato Briones, Tyler Crispen, Memphis Garrett, Nicole Franzel.
However, this alliance isn’t very strong. Crispen has wanted to back-door Briones for some time. He was gaining support, but it hasn’t happened yet.
Crispen previously told Dayton that Briones was targeting her and Rogers. This got back to Briones and it made Crispen worried for his game and upset with Dayton.
Tyler Crispen talked about wanting to leave
The houseguests are very close to making jury. This is actually making some of them question staying for another seven weeks.
Crispen said weeks ago he initially refused returning for the all-star season. It was Angela Rummans who told production he would return.
On Sept. 6, Crispen told Franzel he wanted to self-evict because he felt bad about Dayton being targeted. Crispen also told Calafiore he didn’t want to be involved in any drama.
Abbott won the Power of Veto so Crispen saw an opportunity. He told Rogers and Dayton he wants to offer himself up to be back-doored. He then talked to Abbott. The HoH later told Rogers she wants to put Crispen up.
Crispen talks about rule against quitting the show

Crispen was seen talking to Dayton on the live feeds on Sept. 7. It seems like they might have found a way around the rule against houseguests purposely trying to get evicted to quit the show.
“You can say it in different ways, but you can’t say ‘Put me up’ I guess,” Crispen told Dayton. “I can’t go around telling everyone ‘Hey, let me go home,’” he later explained. She said she understood.
Crispen and Dayton both said they don’t know what Abbott plans on doing with the veto. Dayton talked about giving a speech claiming there is a bigger target in the house other than her and Rogers.
“I appreciate you talking to me,” Crispen told Dayton. “That makes me feel better because like I don’t want it to be like for you to be like ‘Damn, Bay! What the hell?’” Dayton told him.
Dayton said she won’t say Crispen’s name in the speech. So the plan for both of them will be Dayton to make Crispen a target in her speech and hopefully Crispen will be the replacement nominee to be sent home.
Abbott still might refuse to do this given Crispen has been her close ally. But it would make her week a lot easier if she sent him home.
