Madelyn Smedley has confirmed her exit from Hollyoaks and we’re not crying we promise.

The actress played Faye Fuller on the Channel 4 soap, the camp, stylish and ever witty agent of Rayne Royce (Jemma Donovan), who was tragically killed in a shocking whodunit storyline.

Faye, whose aim was to try and save Rayne’s tanking career, was questioned by the police in the aftermath of the murder, but she was seemingly ruled out of due to sleeping with Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) at the time of the crime, which gave her an alibi.

Maddy, who rose to fame on The Traitors, took to social media to confirm that her final scenes have now aired, bringing her stint as Faye to a close.

‘Faye Fuller over and out dallyn!,’ she wrote on Twitter.

‘Thanks for having me. @Hollyoaks an unreal experience. Best bit was my little girl was with me the whole way through, how crazy!’

Hollyoaks has a brand new schedule to better reflect viewing habits of TV audiences today.

The show will no longer air on Channel 4. Instead, viewers can get their daily fix on the station’s online platform, formerly known as 4OD and All4, weeknights at 7:30pm on Channel 4 streaming.

If streaming isn’t your thing or maybe you simply prefer to watch on TV then you can catch the show weeknights at 7pm on E4.

Taking to social media with the adorable announcement, the actress – who also starred in EastEnders – shared a series of snaps of her newborn taken moments after she arrived.

She added in her caption: ‘Shelby Rae our little girl – feel so lucky – 23.09.23 – 6lb 3 🎈💫’

Maddy was inundated with messages of congratulations, including from her fellow Traitors and Faithfuls.
