Actor Andy Whyment says he would stay in Corrie even if he won the lottery.

The I’m A Celeb superfan reckons he is already living the ultimate dream so wouldn’t want to change his life.

Instead the family man, 38, would give a big portion of the money to his parents and siblings.

Asked about his plans if he ever scooped the jackpot, Andy said: “I would stay in Corrie because I enjoy it so much.

“When I get a bit of time off I get bored because all my mates work during the day. But I’d buy my mum and dad a massive house.

Before entering the Jungle he sought advice from his Corrie colleagues Antony Cotton, Jennie McAlpine and Sair Khan on their experiences while on the show.

And he insists, like them, he did not sign up as a springboard to other jobs.

Andy said: “I will stay there as long as they will have me. I enjoy going to work and I think if you enjoy your job, why leave?

“I get why people leave if you have never done anything before but I had done quite a lot before I went into Corrie.

The father-of-two was last night seen breaking down in tears over missing his children as he competed to win a picture of them in his care package.

He said: “I’m right at the bottom of the roast dinner list, but to just get a picture from home. I miss my kids so much.

“Hopefully we’ll get the 12 packages because I think everyone would like a picture of home so if that could happen I think it would be the best day in here by far.”

But he overcame his emotion to help win all his campmates messages from their loved ones.
