Scarlette Douglas had a rollercoaster of a time on A Place in the Sun when she was tasked with helping Maria find a permanent home in Spain.
In Monday's episode of the Channel 4 show (May 17) Scarlette took Maria and her best friend Karen around the stunning lake and town of Viñuela in Málaga.
Maria said she wanted a three-bedroom villa with a swimming pool and beautiful views within her budget of £150,000.
Scarlette found a three-bedroom, three-bathroom villa on the market for £227,000 which was under budget and allowed extra cash for renovations.
The property had gorgeous mountain views and lots of outdoor space for sunbathing and admiring the scenery but it was the indoor area that put Maria off.
"Oh no," she immediately said when she walked into the living room.
Looking around with disappointment in her eyes, Maria said: "It's really dark."
Scarlette said: "You don't think you could lighten it up with the furnishings, change these?"
"You could knock all the walls down," said Maria bluntly, looking at the exterior walls.
"Or knock the walls down," echoed Scarlette, while Karen creased up with laughter.

Maria then sounded serious as she added: "I feel as if it is closing it on me."
"Yes I agree, it's not for you," said Karen.
The search was also stalled when Maria told Scarlette she was "really disappointed" with a £141,000 property with a swimming pool on the grounds there was not enough space for sun loungers right next to the pool.
Luckily, Scarlette managed to find Maria's dream home with property number five and the house-hunter began crying as she viewed it.
The gem of a villa was on the market for £195,000 but Maria made a jammy offer of £150,000.
Amazingly, with a little negotiation from Scarlette, she managed to snap it up for just £160,000 and barely went over her budget.
