WWE star Brie Bella has shocked fans by admitting her and husband Daniel Bryan "are growing apart."

The 36-year-old retired professional wrestler is currently expecting her second child with the SmackDown Superstar but claimed she feels like a single parent sometimes.

The two tied the knot back in 2014, with Brie giving birth to their first daughter Birdie Joe Danielson three years later.

But in a preview of the upcoming episode of Total Bellas, Brie explained that their busy schedules had caused them to drift apart.

The former Divas champion explained: "Well he and I both obviously we don't have a lot of time together as a couple."

Nikki then chimed in to say: "You guys do live very separate lives."

Brie replied: "We do. At times we're like single parents.

At times we're like single parents. We're kind of growing apart, like we're not growing together.

"When he comes back in town, I leave. We're kind of growing apart, like we're not growing together."

Nikki shocked her sister by asking if she felt Bryan was meant to be in her life for the long-run considering how different the two live their lives.

Brie said: "I just think the one thing we really lost is kind of like, when you just spend that time together like the quiet time.

“Like, I know I could be happier. I know I could have a better marriage. He makes little comments, though, here and there, like, “we used to be more simple”. It used to be this and that.

“Sometimes I’m like, ‘Why does he say that?’ Sometimes I feel like he wishes I was still that girl he met eight years ago.”

Speaking in the confessional, Brie added: "In the last eight years, Bryan and I have just wanted different things than what we both wanted together in the beginning.

"I feel like we have to really come up with some compromises. And I know that if I want my marriage to work, I have to go into Sedona so honest. I can’t come back to Phoenix with any regrets.”

Filming for Total Bellas took place months ago and Brie has since announced she is pregnant again so hopefully, fans won't be too worried about the WWE power-couple.
