SERGIO AGUERO left fans split by snubbing Cristiano Ronaldo while ranking the best strikers in history.

The former Manchester City star, 35, made the claim while live-streaming to fans on his Twitch channel.

Aguero quit football in 2021 after suffering cardiac arrhythmia while playing for Barcelona.

And after entertaining fans for years with his incredible goals, the Argentina now delivers hot football takes on social media.

But Aguero’s latest effort divided supporters as he left ex-Man United star Ronaldo off his list of football’s greatest forwards.

There’s little love lost between the pair, with Aguero claiming Ronaldo’s free-kick goals were all “pure luck” during a rant in April.

And he now reckons Ronnie is not deserving of a place in the top three strikers ever – despite the Portugal legend still playing aged 38 while continuing to break goal records.

Aguero said: “The top three strikers in history?

“Ronaldo Nazario, Thierry Henry and Luis Suarez – in that order.”

Aguero’s viewpoint caused a split amongst fans online, with some believing him to be correct and others disagreeing with the sentiment.
