Neville tells Glazers to sell
Gary Neville believes The Glazer family should complete a full sale of Manchester United rather than possibly selling a smaller stake in the club.
He said: "It is out of his hands [Ten Hag], it is out of everyone’s hands. Only the Glazer family themselves can determine what happens and the bidding parties.
"It has been needing this, it has been coming for the last six to eight months because of the cash requirement to rebuild or refurbish this stadium, whatever it is they decide to do, the cost of the transfer market nowadays, competing with City and the other clubs at the top. They haven't got the money.
"They have obviously put the club into quite a bit of debt and they can’t extend that debt either. It is absolutely right and it needs to be a full sale and I think it will be. I am not sure any new party will put in money with the Glazers as a partner.
"Any party that comes into this club that has the Glazer’s as a partner is going to be deemed as being in bed with them and that would not go down well with the fans. They will not taint their own reputation. I can’t see anyone being that silly and naïve to leave them in. I think they need a clean exit and I think they will get it."

Rashford praises two United team-mates
Marcus Rashford has heaped praise on Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Christian Eriksen for their roles in Manchester United's victory over Burnley.
He spoke to MUTV about Wan-Bissaka, saying: "Yeah, massively important player
"We all know about his defensive qualities and, for me, he just needs confidence to be pushed to go forward because when he goes forward he can create goalscoring opportunities for us and today he had no right to get that ball but he got there anyway.
"It was a good ball across and it looks like a simple goal in the end but it's not, it's the movement and the timing from all three players. Christian arriving late into the box and getting a tap-in. It was a great goal and Azza played a massive part."

United send Ronaldo farewell message
Manchester United said goodbye to Cristiano Ronaldo with a blunt farewell message in their matchday programme for their Carabao Cup tie against Burnley.

"Ronaldo was also crowned Ballon d'Or winner in 2008. In a statement on November 22, the club put on record its gratitude for Cristiano's immense contribution and wished him and his family well for the future."

Man Utd told Fernandez price
Benfica have reportedly slapped a whopping £105million price tag on Enzo Fernandez.
Premier League big boys Liverpool were understood to be admirers of Fernandez before his stellar Qatar 2022 displays, which have reportedly piqued the interest of Manchester United.
But it's claimed the duo will have to shatter the Prem's record transfer fee to acquire his services as Benfica have no intention of selling him for a penny less than his mammoth £105m release clause.
If United were to push through a deal they would top the former world-record £89million fee they paid for the recently-departed Paul Pogba.

Vincent Kompany praises United pair
Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has applauded Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford after their starring roles for Manchester United against his side on Wednesday night.
He said: "I thought that both goals were worked really well "The pass from Fernandes is perfect and for Ian (Maatsen), a young full-back, he needs to learn to anticipate these balls.
"I thought there was a lot of quality in the pass. Again, the goal we conceded from Rashford was a lot of quality on the counter, and that was always going to be a danger for us."

Gary Neville praises "happy" Rashford
Gary Neville was impressed with Marcus Rashford against Burnley and thinks he is looking more enthusiastic about his football.
He told Sky Sports: “I think that is the hardest of the positions on the right that Marcus plays.
“He is better centrally and he is better on the left certainly.
“On the right, I think it is difficult for him at times but he looks more enthusiastic and more willing to play there at this moment in time and he makes the best of it.
“I thought generally he was happy in the warm-up, he looked like he was ready to come back.
“He has come back and looks like he is happy, and I think it is a good warm-up game to get back into the Premier League."

Patrice Evra loves United duo
Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra has picked out United's two standout players for the season so far.
He is fond of two Erik ten Hag signings – Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez.
Evra spoke to Betfair about the pair, saying: "Casemiro has had a massive impact, he's one of the best midfield players in the world right now. You can see that's the DNA that the United fans want to see. He wants the discipline and I love that, that's how you're going to go far.
"Lisandro Martinez has impressed me this season. At the beginning of the season when he signed everyone was talking about his height, he's a pitbull. He's angry.
"That's what United fans want to see. The South American players have that passion, they have hunger to give everything, they play with their heart. He wants to bleed for the club and you can see now partnering him with any player he will do the job and he will cover."

Pallister on De Gea
Manchester United legend Gary Pallister suggested his former club should hold on to David de Gea.
Pallister told MrCasinova.com: "He’s only 32, so you’re not looking for another keeper for five or six years if he continues playing the way he has been.
"He had that spell when he lost his place to [Dean] Henderson, and it was on the back of some iffy form and Henderson didn’t take his chance and David got back.
"Since then, David has been pretty consistent"

Why Lisandro chose Man Utd
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag opened up on the phone call that saw Lisandro Martinez join the Red Devils instead of Arsenal.
Ten Hag told Voetbal International: “Whether I found it difficult to get Martinez away from Ajax? I had such a good time there, how we experienced the process together.
“From scratch we brought Ajax back to the European top. That project has been so dear to me. But Martinez himself wanted to leave Ajax anyway. If we hadn’t taken him, he would have gone to Arsenal.
“They wanted him anyway, he was top priority there. Licha [Martinez] called me at one point: ‘Coach, listen, I’m leaving Ajax anyway. I can sign with Arsenal, but if you want me, I’m going to Manchester United.’
“Then I thought: ‘I shouldn’t shoot myself and United in the foot either’. He really wasn’t staying in Amsterdam, that was out of the question. Then we struck and it all worked out”

Pallister on Ronaldo
Manchester United legend Gary Pallister insists his former club had no other option but to let Cristiano Ronaldo go.
Pallister told MrCasinova.com: "That’s 100% the mantra that you’ve got to take, that there is no player bigger than the club. Could it have all been handled better? Yeah, quite possibly.
"Was it always going to be a difficult situation? I think from the moment that he came back in and said that he wanted to leave, it was always going to be difficult.
"I’m sure that everybody in hindsight might have done it slightly differently. But that’s all been nipped in the bud now he has left the club. It became an issue that overshadowed the whole football club.
"It distracted from what the team were trying to do – trying to build that work ethic, trying to build a team and it became too much of a distraction and I think it was for the best for all parties after the interview that he was to leave the club for pastures new.
"Ronaldo has been unbelievable for United over the years, he started his career there, got his move to Real Madrid and came back last year scoring 20 or so goals in a team that was struggling. It’s a shame it ended like that"
