    That’s all from Old Trafford

So in a game with very few twists and turns, super Rashford comes off the bench to save the day for Manchester United yet again. Not all heroes wear capes.

Apart from the opening ten minutes or so, West Ham never caused any massive threat to the Red Devils but they were still able to frustrate the hosts by putting bodies behind the ball which United struggled to break down.

That tactic almost worked too, however it becomes risky when your opposition have so much attacking talent to choose from and Ralf Rangnick proved that when the German mastermind threw on Anthony Martial, Edison Cavani and Marcus Rashford who all combined to grab the winner.

Finally, the Red Devils are back into top four and it may not be for long but it shows that they are making the right progression as opposed to how it all ended with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Thank you for tuning in folks, there is plenty more action that we will be providing you with across the weekend. Have a good one!

    West Ham United’s next five

After that hard fought match which ended in missery, David Moyes will be hoping he can rest some players for their next fixture where they travel to the Aggborough stadium to face National League side Kidderminster Harriers in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

After that, the Hammers have two favourable home Premier League matches against struggling sides Newcastle and Watford with a tough trip to Leicester in the middle of February.

However game five of this run could be the most important yet because they’ll be welcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Olympic Stadium who is also a team trying to sneak in the top four this season.

    Coming soon for Man United

The Red Devils now have a two week gap before they turn their attentions to the FA Cup fourth round fixture where they roll out the red carpet for Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.

Ralf Rangnick’s side will then need to prepare for two tough Premier League outings away to Burnley and Leeds United with a home battle against Southampton in between.

But United fans, jot this one down in your diaries; Wednesday 23rd of February, Atletico Madrid at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano in the Champions League round of 16 first leg.

    The full time match receipts

Judging by the statistics you could say that the better team won because Manchester United had more possession, more passes completed and more shots on goal.

However, Ralf Rangnick may want to do some more shooting practice in training because 15 shots off target is quite bad but it's the top stat which counts the most.

    Manchester United leapfrog into fourth

That last gasp winner from Marcus Rashford has fired Manchester United into the top four for the first time since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge.

As for West Ham, they slip to fifth and could end the weekend even lower should Spurs and Arsenal pick up three points tomorrow.

    A man for the moments

Marcus Rashford's stoppage time winner is his fourth time scoring in 90+ during a Premier League fixture which is at least twice as many as any other player in the clubs history.

In addition to that, no other player has scored more winners in added time than the England international since data was recorded in the competition.

What a title to have. Rashford is going to sleep good tonight that's for sure.

Full time – Man Utd 1-0 West Ham

What a game that turned out to be and just as it looked as if it was heading for a 0-0 draw, Marcus Rashford comes on to save the day.

He truly is a super sub.

    Man Utd 1-0 West Ham

90+3. Anthony Martial who had the chance to win the game for himself moments earlier, carved open the West Ham defence with a perfectly timed through ball.

Edison Cavani was the man who got onto it from the left-hand side and then the Urugyan was able to pick his head up, slide it across the six-yard-box with the outside of his boot for Marcus Rashford who had made a dart into the box to tap in.

Heartbreak for the Hammers but tears of joy for Man United who evenutally get the goal given after a VAR check.

Man Utd 0-0 West Ham – Martial could have been a hero!

90+2. The ball fell to Anthony Martial who took a shot that went straight at the keeper.

Any other side and it was in!

Man Utd 0-0 West Ham – opportunity wasted!

    86. Jarrod Bowen delivered a sublime cross from the right-hand side perfect for Tomas Soucek to attack just outside the six-yard-box.

If David Moyes had his money on anybody in the team to score a header from there, it would have been the Czech Republic international but Soucek wasn't able to guide his effort on target and the ball trickled wide for a goal kick.

That should have been the one.

    Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

    84. Martial's first port of call is having to deal with a corner to deal which Jarrod Bowen has done well to win for his side.

    Will this be the breakthrough?

    Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

    83. Anthony Matrial hasn't featured since December for the Red Devils but the Frenchman has six in his last six against the Hammers so it would be a good time for him to make an impact.

Man Utd 0-0 West Ham – double Man United change!

    81. The United interim boss is throwing caution to the wind here by making two attacking changes.

    • Mason Greenwood – OFF
    • Fred – OFF
    • Anthony Martial – ON
    • Edison Cavani – ON

Man Utd 0-0 West Ham – never a penalty!

    79. Bruno Fernandes had the ball pinched off him by Kurt Zouma and went down in pain but the replays showed that Zouma's challenge was perfectly time so I have no idea what Fernandes was complaining about.

VAR did have a quick look and by right, they rejected the penalty appeal.

    Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

    76. Ouch that is going to hurt.

Michail Antonio and Raphael Varane both went up for a header and the West Ham striker ended up landing on Varane's arm as they both hit the deck.

The Frenchman is having some treatment but he looks as if he will be able to continue.

      Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

      73. Less than 20 minutes to go and still no breakthrough in this quest for the top four clash at Old Trafford.

You get that feeling that one goal will be enough to win it here.

    • Nyle Smith

      Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

      70. Cristiano Ronaldo has just lost his temper with the referee for awarding a free-kick to Craig Dawson for a high foot.

In all honesty, the West Ham defender was lucky to get away with that one because Dawson stopped his head rather than Ronaldo's foot being high but there was contact so you can see why it was given.

    • Nyle Smith

      Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

      67. This game has been completely different in the second half in comparison to the first.

Not only does it have more of an end-to-end feel to it, but we have actually had a couple of shots on target too.
