MANCHESTER UNITED could scoop £15million if Crystal Palace sell Wilfried Zaha due to a sell on clause.
Zaha has told the Eagles he wants to quit Selhurst Park to join a Champions League club this summer.
The 26-year-old returned to Palace after a disastrous move to Old Trafford in 2015 for £6m.
And according to the Daily Mail, United are entitled to up to 20 per cent of the profit incurred from Zaha's next move.
The Palace top brass will only consider doing business for Zaha for at least £80m
So if the Londoner’s get at least what they want for the Ivory Coast attacker, United would trouser just under £15million.
Zaha has just enjoyed his most productive season scoring ten Premier League goals with 21 assists.
The attacker was high on Tottenham’s shopping list last year before penning a new £130,000-a-week deal at the club until 2023.
Despite United’s financial muscle, any additional funds will be welcome as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to overhaul the squad inherited from Jose Mourinho.
A potential move for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho looks dead and they face competition from Real Madrid for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has vowed to back Solskjaer in the transfer market.
Woodward said: “Although everyone is disappointed with the 6th placed finish, we’ve already begun preparations for next season and there’s a real determination to make a fresh start and get back to competing at the top under Ole and his team.
“The strength of our business means we have the financial resources to continue to provide a solid foundation for backing
the manager and creating success on the pitch.”
United finished sixth in the league, a whopping 32 points behind champions Manchester City.
