LIVERPOOL'S team bus got stuck in a tunnel below the stadium that will host the Champions League final.

Jurgen Klopp's side will battle it out against Tottenham for the silverware at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid on Saturday.

But Liverpool's preparations for the game took a turn for the worse when their bus became trapped on a ramp.

It is not clear what caused the bus to get stuck, but a crowd gathered as staff tried to find the source of the problem.

An onlooker claimed that almost an hour passed before the red vehicle was able to drive away.

Footage of the embarrassing incident was posted to social media – which fans claimed has given Spurs an early advantage.

One said: "Great start for Tottenham."

While one confused viewer replied: "This makes no sense, how could the front of the bus get through when it is higher than the back of the bus?"

It is understood that Klopp's team were not on board on the time as they will not fly to Spain until the day before the match.

Mohamed Salah and Co are expected to arrive on Friday before undergoing a training session at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Tottenham's team will touch down in the capital two days before their Premier League rivals.
