UNAI EMERY will implement the next phase of his Arsenal overhaul this summer, but it could be a tricky few months for the Spanish coach.

Carrasco told SunSport he was close to joining the Gunners in January and a switch to the Premier League is his preferred next stop.

Another option to replace Aaron Ramsey could be Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze.

The former golden boy of German football lost his way after a move to Bayern Munich five years ago.

But the 27-year-old has fought back from injury and illness to score seven goals with seven assists in 34 games last term.

Gotze has another year to run on his current deal and could be tempted to try his luck in England if the right offer is on the table.
