ENGLAND star Tyrone Mings is planning to give fans an injury update following his severe knee issue.

The Aston Villa defender suffered a ruptured ACL during the club's first game of the Premier League season against Newcastle back in August.

Mings was stretched off in pain with his leg in a brace and he is set to miss the rest of the campaign.

In a cryptic Instagram post, the 30-year-old revealed he would give supporters further information later today.

He posted a picture of himself sat with his head down as he wrote: "Grateful for all your support. I'll share an update with you all later today."

It led to much speculation and some fans are fearing the worst.
