EDDIE HEARN says he is “disgusted” at Errol Spence Jr’s actions after he was charged with drink-driving.

The welterweight king, 29, has been charged with DWI after flipping his Ferrari in a horrific high-speed car crash in Dallas.

Now boxing promoter Hearn has offered his views on the star’s actions.

Speaking to IFL TV, he blasted: “You’d probably get another response from me on another day, but it’s disgusting, really.

“You’ve seen how precious life is, and you talk about taking it for granted.

“When I saw the accident, and I saw that he came out alive, I couldn’t believe.”

Spence Jr was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of his vehicle during the smash, which saw the super-car somersault multiple times last Thursday.

The undefeated star as taken to hospital and listed as being in a critical condition as fears mounted for his life.

He was reported to be travelling “at a high speed rate” northbound on Riverford Boulevard just before 3am, but he managed to escape the horrifying scene with no broken bones.

Earlier in the night, the man widely regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world posted a video to his Instagram Stories showing a pal dancing in a nightclub.

Spence Jr is undefeated as a pro, winning all 26 of his fights, 21 by KO, and is the reigning IBF and WBC welterweight world champ.

His most recent scrap was against fellow American Shawn Porter, which he won by split decision.

It was regarded as one of the fights of the year.

Spence Jr famously battered former British world champ Kell Brook in May 2017, stopping the Sheffield man in the 11th round.

The fighter, who was born in Long Island, New York, is now a Dallas resident in the DeSoto neighbourhood.

He is a father of two daughters under the age of five, and regards himself as a Dallas local having been raised in the city since a child.
