PORTO midfielder Danilo Pereira has issued a "come and get me" plea to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.

Gunners manager Arteta is known to be looking for a no-nonsense midfielder to add steel in the middle of the park.

The North London side have long been tracking Atletico Madrid's defensive midfielder Thomas Partey.

But they are witholding a bid as they await the outcome of the Ghanaian's contract talks with Diego Simeone's side.

Pereira has put himself firmly in the shop window and comes with a big billing after he was compared to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
