I'VE been at York all week doing a bit of social and enjoying some fantastic action in bright sunshine.
Now it's back to the grind and I reckon I've picked out a trio of good things for Sunday's racing.
Market Rasen
2.15 Istimraar – Failed to strike over fences last time (was sent off 2-7) but possibly felt the exertions of trying to make up for an early blunder.
Now back over hurdles, he'll be very tough to beat if he's in the same form that saw him land a similar race at Plumpton on his penultimate start.
The Skelton team have turned him out again under a penalty and clearly think they should strike while the iron is hot.

Ripon
3.45 Takumi – Returned from an absence to strike at Goodwood on his handicap debut and as a result has the most eye-catching recent form of these.
Roger Varian has hit the ground running this season and should be able to strike again with his three-year-old, who should yet be better than a mark of 79.
Stratford
4.10 Deise Vu – Went off far too fast in his quest for a hat-trick last time and unsurprisingly ran out of gas late on.
Given a more conservative ride now he should be able to bounce back and I think he can win again off this mark.
Stratford suits his running style and he should get an unpestered lead.
