  • STORM BRU-ING

  • SERIE-ASLY STAYING

Kalidou Koulibaly will not be making a big-money move to the Premier League this month.

28-year-old has been tracked heavily by Manchester United for the past year while Chelsea have also been monitoring his situation at Napoli.

But the defender expects to remain with the Serie A club at least until the summer.

  • HOW ABOUT MAT

Nemanja Matic gets Manchester United right back into their Carabao Cup semi-final with rivals City with a rocket into the bottom corner.

  • MULL IT OVER

Manchester United target Thomas Muller has not ruled out a move away from Bayern Munich, according to reports in Germany.

German site Bild claim the 30-year-old could be tempted with a new challenge away from the Bundesliga amid reports of interest from clubs in England and Italy.

Despite his contract running until the summer of 2021, there will be plenty of interest in the World Cup winner if he is allowed to leave the club this year.

The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the German and could consider a move in the summer but it would mean breaking their policy of not signing players over the age of 30.

  • SOL-DER ON

Gareth Bale reportedly remains a target for Manchester United despite Bruno Fernandes being on the verge of signing.

The deal to take the Portuguese playmaker from Sporting CP is nearing completion with the club confirming the agreement of a transfer fee.

But that hasn't stopped boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still reportedly wanting his board to ask Real Madrid for Bale.

Veteran Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda told El Chiringuito TV: “The Manchester United coach, Solskjaer, has asked the board of directors to make an effort to sign Bale.

“Rashford has been injured and they want to sign him before the market closes.

“United could pay around £40m to £50m.”
