THE season is well underway and clubs are eyeing the January transfer window.

More than three months after the window slammed shut for teams in England and around Europe, it's nearly time for the wheeling and dealing to start all over again.

Among the potential moves in the winter window, Kalidou Koulibaly could be on his way to Tottenham to shore up his Jose Mourinho's defence, while Jadon Sancho's time at Borussia Dortmund could be nearing its end.

  • CHARLTON are said to have issued a hands-off warning to Newcastle United and Leicester City over their striker Macauley Bonne.

    The two Premier League sides emerged as surprise suitors for a player who has spent much of his career in the lower leagues of English football.

    At 24 Bonne, who moved to Charlton for £200k from Leyton Orient in the summer, has plenty of time to develop as a player.

    Charlton are said to be insistent that the striker will not be sold in January.

  • SPURS are reportedly keeping an eye on Fenerbache forward Vedat Muriqi as they step up the search for attacking reinforcements.

    The North London club have reportedly sent scouts out to watch the Kosovan in Istanbul and hold a genuine interest in the player.

    Both Fenerbache and Muriqi are said to be aware of the interest, but the forward could still remain in Turkey for another season should they get Champions League football.

  • KYLIAN MBAPPE has reportedly decided against signing a new contract with PSG in a move which will alert Europe's top clubs.

    Real Madrid have long been admirers of the French forward, with Zidane previously saying he is “in love” with his compatriot.

    According to Marca the 20-year-old remains at loggerheads with the Paris club and has been disappointed at being substituted in recent games.

  • BEN GODFREY is reportedly a £50million target for Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window.

    The Athletic claim that United are among a number of sides interested in signing the 21-year-old from Norwich.

    Godfrey impressed in the Championship last term and has held his own in the Premier League.

    It is believed United will have to scrap it out with Spurs to seal the youngster's signature.

  • BOTH Watford and Aston Villa could do with tightening up at the back and will likely target defensive reinforcements next month.

    Both sides have been linked with a move for Croatian defender Domagoj Veda who was a regular in his country's run to the World Cup final in 2018.

    The 30-year-old has another three years on his contract with Besiktas, but the Turkish club are reportedly willing to sell due to their current financial struggles.
