When are Morrisons branches opening and closing?

Morrisons recently extended its opening times, with most stores open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday- find your local here.

Sunday hours, which are 9.30am to 4pm, remain the same for the rest of us, apart from the Scottish who can get their groceries from 8am to 8pm on Sundays.

The supermarket chain has introduced an NHS hour from 6am to 7am on Monday to Saturday and 9am to 9.30am on Sunday.

In Scotland, stores will open 7am to 8am for NHS workers on Sundays.

All customers with an NHS badge will be allowed to enter the store and stock up on the products they need at this time.

Morrisons does not have specific times for the elderly and vulnerable.

When is the best time to shop there?

Google has a tracker which allows you to see when the peak times are.

If you search for “Morrisons” and then click on your nearest store, it will show a bar chart of when the store’s busiest times are.

What should I buy when I’m there?

The Government and supermarkets have urged shoppers not to panic buy or stockpile and have repeatedly said there is “enough food for everyone”.

We have compiled a list of what you need for two weeks now that Boris Johnson has told Brits to shop as infrequently as possible.

Morrisons also offers food boxes that contain simple groceries for vegetarians, meat-eaters and families priced between £35 and £45.

Is there a limit on items?

Morrisons has lifted buying restrictions on all items, so there is currently no limits in place.

However, stores are still enforcing a one trolley per customer rule.

Shoppers may also have to queue to get into stores due to a one in, one out, system.

Previously, there were limits in place on some items at the supermarket after panic buying meant there was a shortage of products.

Customers were only able to buy three of the same items.

Can I order online?

Morrisons delivery slots have generally been sold out, but you might get lucky depending on where you live, so it's worth having a go.

On their site they still recommend booking a slot well in advance if you can.

From this weekend, red and white wine, beer and lager will be available to customers from Morrisons supermarkets on the Deliveroo app, which means you can order in booze in less than 30 minutes.

The supermarket chain has launched a food box service, which will give customers a delivery of £30 worth of groceries – plus a £5 delivery charge – to last two weeks.

Buyers can choose between the meat eaters box and the vegetarian box, and now a family box and a box that is just pure meat for the carnivorous.

The contents of these boxes will be completely random, but Morrisons have promised they'll be full of the essentials customers need.

A typical meat eaters box may include:

• Canned baked beans, soup and pasta sauce
• Milk
• Dairy products such as butter and cheese
• Bread
• Rice and pasta
• Meat products, such as sausage, bacon and cooked meat
• Vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots and onions
• Fresh meat such as chicken or beef
• Essential household items

A typical vegetarian box may include:
