“Riverdale” star Vanessa Morgan and White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech are new parents.

The estranged couple — who split last year after less than a year of marriage — have welcomed a son, according to E! News.

Despite their breakup, a source told the site, “Vanessa had the baby, and Michael is with her as well. They’re both thrilled.”

Kopech, 24, filed for divorce from Morgan, 28, in June of 2020 — one month before the actress revealed her pregnancy to the public. The couple got married just months before, in January of 2020.

Her rep previously confirmed to the Chicago Tribune that Kopech is the father.

Six weeks ago, Morgan posted on Instagram that she was on maternity leave from “Riverdale” and “grateful to my showrunner & producers for being so accommodating & writing my pregnancy into the show!”

“Also proud of my body for allowing me to still work almost 9 months preggo,” she wrote. “Now time to have a baby! ?? lol.”
