The Queen leaves presents in Prince George’s room every time he stays over at Buckingham Palace, reports claim.

George, third in line to the throne, is due to celebrate his sixth birthday tomorrow and is apparently favoured by her Majesty, who ‘goes out of her way to spend time with him.’

The youngster has even conjured up a nickname for his great grandmother, ‘Gan Gan’, and that has allegedly helped endear him to the 93-year-old.

‘The doting Queen takes time to select little presents that she leaves at the foot of George’s bed every time he stays over,’ reports Fabulous Magazine.

George, third in line to the throne, turns six tomorrow and is allegedly ‘favoured by The Queen,’ according to a royal insider

Speaking to the publication, a royal insider who has watched the Prince grow up, described George as ‘very much his own man,’ who is also ‘shy.’

This is possibly reflected in the fact that he has requested a small family gathering at Anmer Hall – the Cambridges’ Norfolk estate – for his birthday celebrations.

The insider went on to reveal the young royal eventually opens up when he warms to people and feels like he can trust someone.

Speaking of family favourites, Prince George’s number one uncle is allegedly Mike Tindall because he doesn’t take himself seriously.

Prince George is said to be shy, possibly reflected in the fact that he requested a small family gathering at Anmer Hall – the Cambridges’ Norfolk estate for his birthday celebrations tomorrow.

It may also come as a surprise to some that many of the young Prince’s favourite activities are rather humble, given the wealth and privilege at his disposal.

His favourite past times include ‘spending time with his mum, cooking pizzas from scratch and pottering about in the garden,’ the insider adds.

The Prince of Wales, George’s grandfather, is said to be happy about the boy’s predisposition to the outdoors.

But the real challenge for his parents is to motivate him when he ‘has already been handed a deck of cards packed with aces,’ the source claims.
