Dolores Catania: ‘There was no good reason’ for Teresa’s engagement party snub

Teresa Giudice raved that her fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, has been “involved” in planning their wedding — unlike her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, in 1999.

“Wedding plans are going amazing. Luis is involved with me, and I love that. We’re doing it together, so it’s not just me,” Teresa told Page Six exclusively Monday at the 2022 NBCUniversal upfront at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in New York City.

“I remember my first wedding; I did it by myself. But he’s involved, and I love that,” she added of Ruelas.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 49, also shared that she has better communication with Ruelas, 48, than she did with Joe, 49, during their 20 years of marriage.

“We communicate. We get along so wonderful. It’s so great. He’s so good to my daughters; I love his sons. We have a beautiful family together,” she continued.

Teresa and Ruelas got engaged in October 2021, nearly one year after she finalized her divorce from Joe, with whom she shares four daughters: Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12.

The lovebirds are set to tie the knot this summer in New Jersey, as she revealed on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in March.

Teresa has yet to confirm whether she will let Bravo film the extravaganza. Page Six previously heard she was “on the fence” about airing her wedding on national television.

Regardless of her decision, Teresa’s wedding has already been a source of drama on the nearly finished 12th season of “RHONJ.” She previously revealed on “WWHL” that her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, did not make the cut to be a bridesmaid, and her brother, Joe Gorga, said he felt personally disrespected by his sister’s choice.

The Bravolebrity also turned heads when she did not invite close pal Dolores Catania to her engagement party in December because Catania, 51, was single at the time.

“I would be lying to say it didn’t [hurt] on some level,” Catania told Page Six last week. “Not being invited to somewhere shouldn’t hurt me, OK? So I’m going to remind myself of that when these things happen. I am human, but I shake it off, and I’m like, OK.”

The final episode of the three-part “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 12 reunion airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
