McDonald’s is going global! The world’s most recognizable fast-food chain has had outposts in various corners of the world since its first international restaurant opened back in 1967, but now a handful of overseas menu items will be available at multiple stores in America for the first time ever.

While rotating popular dishes from around the globe are on the menu at McDonald’s global headquarters restaurant in Chicago, this marks the first time various worldwide favorites will be featured at participating U.S. restaurants.

These international additions, which will be available for a limited time starting June 5, include the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands, Spain’s Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger, Canada’s Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Bacon Fries, which hail from Australia.

According to the Golden Arches, bringing these items stateside is the “latest step in continuing to build a better McDonald’s for our customers.”

“We know our U.S. customers are curious about McDonald’s international menu items. Because we are always innovating our menu, we are thrilled to leverage our global scale and offer popular flavors from around the world next month,” said Linda VanGosen, McDonald’s vice president of menu innovation. “We are committed to creating everyday feel-good moments for customers no matter what McDonald’s restaurant they walk into anywhere in the world.”

Furthermore, McDonald’s intimated this is only the tip of the international iceberg, adding, “We can’t wait to show customers more of the international celebration we have in store this summer.”
