As Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have become the faces of the British royal family, more attention has been paid to their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Though the Cambridges have sought to give their children normal childhoods, there is really no such thing as normal when you’re a royal.
Amid quarantine and the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the duke and duchess have been candid about parenting and homeschooling their children as they isolate at their country estate Anmer Hall. The little royals have also been involved in some of their parents’ work, volunteering for the less fortunate and cheering on the National Health Service (NHS).
Still, while much attention has been paid to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis who recently turned two, is also enjoying the spotlight. Shockingly enough, unlike his older siblings, the toddler prince nearly didn’t get a royal title.

Prince Louis is extremely outgoing
Prince Louis’ little personality has been emerging as of late. Since he’s used to being at home with by himself with the family’s nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo while his parents work and his siblings are at school, he’s been thoroughly enjoying all of this quality time.
“Louis loves his older brother and sister and always tries to follow them,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told OK! Magazine. “He talks a lot now and is holding on. He has quite an outgoing personality from what I was told. He is certainly not shy.”
Prince William has also said that his youngest son is obsessed with Zoom calls. “For some reason, he sees the red button and he always wants to press the red button,” Prince William told the BBC. Kate added, “It’s so true. And I think your father and my parents and our families… have really loved keeping in touch with the children because it’s really hard. It gets a bit hectic, I am not going to lie, with a 2-year-old.”

Kate Middleton thinks Prince Louis looks just like her
Though she adores all of her children, the Duchess of Cambridge has revealed that Prince Louis is the only one of her babies that looks like her. “Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate,” a source told People. “She loves it and thinks it’s very sweet, she often jokes that he’s the only one of her kids who actually looks like her!”
The duchess has also been enjoying this extra special time with her children, even though it’s admittedly exhausting at times. “It gets a bit hectic, I’m not going to lie,” Kate told BBC. “Children have got such stamina. I don’t know how, honestly. You get to the end of the day and you write a list of all the things you’ve done in that day. You’ve pitched a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake, you get to the end of the day. They’ve had a lovely time. It’s amazing how much you can cram into one day, that’s for sure.”

Prince Louis almost didn’t get a royal title
Shockingly enough despite the Cambridges’ status in th royal family, with Prince William becoming the future Crowned King one day, Prince Louis almost didn’t get a title.
According to Hello! Magazine, there was a law in place that stated that only Prince Charles’ first grandson would be given an official title. However, jut before Princess Charlotte was born, Queen Elizabeth II changed the law. She didn’t want her great-granddaughter skipped over like her own daughter, Princess Anne had been.
If the queen hadn’t changed things, Prince Louis would have been called Lord Louis of Cambridge.
