Former Take That star Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field have recently got candid about their relationship in a new interview.

From discussing how ”everyone knows there is no sex after marriage” to the pair admitting they’re at their most intimate when they’re cuddling on the sofa watching Netflix, the Angels singer even joked he’d rather eat a “tangerine” than have sex.

However, despite the couple’s sex remarks, the two confirmed that they’re “happy,” especially with their children, Theodora, 10, Charlton, eight, Colette, four, and Beau, three.

Robbie and Ayda met in 2006, and tied the knot four years later in the musical icon’s Beverley Hills home. While guests thought they were arriving at a James Bond Casino Royale-themed party, the 60 invited guests were actually met with a surprise wedding.

But what about Robbie’s dating history before Ayda all those years ago? Well, the star has been linked to other stars in the past, including Spice Girls Mel C and Geri Horner, plus Nicole Appleton.

Mel C

Back in 1997, at the height of Take That and the Spice Girls’ success, Robbie and Mel C briefly entered a one month relationship.

The couple even flew to Ireland with Mel C’s bandmate Victoria Beckham and her husband David Beckham for a Christmas getaway.

However, due to Robbie’s success with Angels the same year, he reportedly went on a bender and ended up in rehab for six weeks.

Years later, Sporty Spice opened up about the fling and told Star magazine: “It didn’t really work out.”

"It was just a chemistry thing really, sometimes there’s not a major reason. He was busy travelling all over the world and so was I,” she added

Geri Halliwell

While Ginger Spice was linked to Robbie, the two have never officially confirmed a romance.

It’s widely known that they're close friends though, and that the Take That singer wrote his number one single, Eternity, as an ode to their friendship.

Nicole Appleton

All Saints singer Nicole Appleton met Robbie in 1997 when the pair were filming Top of the Pops.

The two hit it off and began a relationship, before subsequently getting engaged. Unfortunately it wouldn’t last for the couple, who split up and got back together numerous times over the course of their romance.

According to Nicole, the two finally called it quits when she revealed in an autobiography that she felt pressure from her record company to abort their baby.
