A nursery worker has revealed the impractical children’s clothes that make her heart sink, including dungarees and designer clothing.

Lucy Wilber, 27, from North Wales, took to her TikTok account @lucywilbs95 to let parents know that there are some items of clothing that are really irritating.

She captioned the video, which racked up over 1.4 million views: ‘If you know, you know.’

In the clip she listed the annoying items and wrote: ‘Things I have grown to hate since working in childcare.’

The nursery worker then listed ‘high top trainers’ because they are presumably hard to get on and off.

She went onto say ‘dungarees’ because they are fiddly to undo when helping children use the toilet or changing nappies.

She also mentioned ‘designer clothing that can’t get dirty’ is annoying on kids who want to play and paint.

And finally she mentioned children bringing in ‘little toys’ which will ‘100% get lost.’

In the comments, there were lots of people agreement with her, with some sharing horror stories.

One person wrote: ‘I once had a kid come to my nursery and his parents would dress him in tight skinny jeans with lace-up high top Converse and use pull ups.’

To which Lucy replied: ‘That’s the worst combo.’
