DEAR DEIDRE: I HAVE become sex mad recently but my husband is having erection problems.
We have been married 20 years. I am 39, he is 40. I was never like this before but now my sex drive is off the scale.
The trouble is that my husband goes soft halfway through sex, so neither of us is getting the full experience.
We try to lead healthy lives. We do not smoke or drink and cannot understand why this is happening but we feel really frustrated.
We have two children who have left home, so we did hope we could enjoy this time together for ourselves.
DEIDRE SAYS: First, your husband should have a GP check-up to see if there is an underlying medical reason for his erection problems.
If he gets the all-clear, take the pressure off yourselves.
He may feel anxious that he is letting you down, and this would affect his erection.
My e-leaflet Your Man Losing His Erection? explains self-help sex therapy.
